ScoreStory or Mopinion: which suits your customer feedback?

Mopinion, known as Netigate Digital since October 2026, is feedback software from Rotterdam for websites, apps and email, with AI follow-up questions and European hosting. ScoreStory revolves around one score and a full conversation after it, for customers and employees. Here is how they differ.

What each one is for

Mopinion

Mopinion, based in Rotterdam, builds software for collecting feedback on websites, in apps and by email, at the very moment a user does something. Forms appear based on behaviour, can include a screenshot, and come together in dashboards with alerts and integrations with your analytics, CRM and support tools. Since 2025 Mopinion has been part of the Swedish company Netigate, and since October 2026 it has been called Netigate Digital.

ScoreStory

ScoreStory asks one question, an NPS, eNPS, CSAT or CES score, and then holds a conversation about the answer. Vox, the AI interviewer, asks for reasons and examples; participants type or speak their answers. The answers are sorted into themes and sentiment automatically, with a short conclusion and the quotes behind it. ScoreStory is used for both customer and employee research.

Where your data is

Mopinion lists the EU or EEA as the data location for every party on its sub-processor list. Hosting runs on AWS in Europe; a few sub-processors are US companies, such as Cloudflare. According to Mopinion, Smart Recaps was developed and is hosted in its own cloud environment in the EU, with no external processors. Mopinion holds an ISO 27001 certification.

ScoreStory runs on its own infrastructure at Leaseweb in the Netherlands. The language model that holds and analyses the conversation is Anthropic's, in the US, so the conversation text leaves the EEA for that step, under the EU Standard Contractual Clauses. ScoreStory does not hold an ISO 27001 certification. If all processing must stay in the EU, Mopinion is the better fit today. See our privacy page.

What it costs

Mopinion doesn't charge per response but on what you measure: the number of domains and page views, emails and app sessions. On 22 October 2026, Standard started at €279 a month and Enterprise at €999 a month, excl. VAT. Unlimited surveys, feedback and users are included. There is a 14-day trial and no free plan.

ScoreStory charges per participant: Essential costs €50 a month excl. VAT for 10 participants a month, Plus €125 for 50 and Pro €475 for 250, with up to 5 users included. Your first 10 interviews are free, with no end date. See pricing.

When to choose which

Mopinion is the better choice if you

  • want feedback in the context of your website or app, with screenshots and behavioural triggers;
  • have lots of visitors and don't want to pay per response;
  • want to connect feedback to your analytics, CRM or ticketing system;
  • need forms in many languages;
  • require all processing to stay in the EU or EEA, or need an ISO 27001 certificate.

ScoreStory is the better fit if you

  • measure a recurring score and want a full conversation with every participant;
  • also run employee research, with eNPS and an anonymous mode;
  • want participants to be able to speak their answers;
  • want to start small, with a free start and plans from €50 a month;
  • invite customers by email, link or QR code, not only on your website.

Switching, or using both

Mopinion and ScoreStory overlap less than you might think. Mopinion captures feedback while someone is using your website or app. ScoreStory asks for a score afterwards and holds the conversation about it. So you can use them side by side: Mopinion for digital feedback, ScoreStory for your NPS after a purchase or your eNPS among employees.

How to start

  • Choose the metric and keep the same question wording as in your current form.
  • Add ScoreStory's website pop-up, or invite customers with a mailing, a link or a QR code.
  • Import your contacts as a CSV or Excel file, or create invitations through the API.
  • Your old feedback stays in Mopinion. ScoreStory doesn't import it.

Frequently asked questions

Is Mopinion called something else now?

Yes. Mopinion was acquired by the Swedish company Netigate in September 2025 and has been called Netigate Digital since 8 October 2026. According to Netigate, the platform itself has not changed. On this page we use the name Mopinion, because that is how most people still know the product.

Mopinion asks AI follow-up questions too. So what is the difference?

In Mopinion, the AI follow-up is an element in a feedback form, asking up to five questions on an answer. The form, often in the context of a web page or app, remains the basis. In ScoreStory the conversation is the survey: after the score, every participant gets an interview, which they can also answer by speaking. ScoreStory is also built for employee research, with an anonymous mode.

Which is better for feedback on my website?

For feedback in the context of a page, with screenshots, behavioural triggers and analytics integrations, Mopinion goes further. ScoreStory has a pop-up or button on your website that starts an NPS, CSAT or CES conversation. That fits when you want to know why visitors give a score, not where on the page something went wrong.
